Musically, the boys are and have always been very diverse. Crossing from North to South of the electronic musical spectrum, from pumping EDM to delicately programmed deep grooving house, to storming trap & drum and bass. From the depths of Ibiza to massive UK festivals, to commercial Universities, no challenge is too big for Ed & Jim to get their musical teeth into, and the boys use their skills like master craftsmen to tailor for each gig and production very specifically. The boys have sold in excess of 1,2000 compilation albums to date, including the UK Platinum Selling “Addicted to Bass ” series. With their long standing compilation deal with Ministry of Sound, every single one of their albums has hit the Top 10 of the UK Charts, including the prestigious No.1 spot.

The Wideboys have their own National Radio show across one of the UK’s biggest radio stations, Kiss Fm, every Friday night as part of the Kiss Weekend from 2-3am. Previous to this, the boys have also provided guest mixes for BBC Radio 1, BBC 1xtra and Capital radio.

Over the years they have gained support by a real cross spectrum of the dance community: Annie Mac, Mistajam, Toddla T, Kissy Sellout, Scott Mills, Nick Grimshaw, Zane Lowe, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, DJ EZ, Andi Durrant, Steve Smart, have all played their music in their DJ sets. Their last single was No.1 in both the Music Week Urban Chart and No.1 in the Music Week Club Chart, and has been signed to 10 further territories outside the UK including USA & Germany.

Gigs have been extremely busy over the last 12 months with heavyweight sets at BCM Majorca, Eden Ibiza, Esparadis Ibiza, Full Moon Partys across Europe, Moscow, Cyprus, Thorpe Park Theme Park takeovers, Fabric London, O2 London, and a staple headliner across a large section of the UK’s Universities and Colleges. Wideboys TV Youtube channel has also clocked up 2 million views.

The buzz on The Wideboys has been steaming in 2014, with a new TV advertised Ministry compilation arriving in April, a batch of new singles and EPs, remixes for Ultra US: Shakira & Rihanna’s new collaboration; which has been used for a large US campaign; and an ultra current onslaught of remixes for the world’s biggest playlisted artists.

RETRO – The boys old school UK chart smash single, “Sambuca”, is undoubtedly considered one of the all time Garage anthems, and still gets played in clubs across the world every week more than 10 years on. The boys are signed to Sony Music Publishing UK for their Song writing, as well as A&R’ing for various labels. The boys run 3 labels showcasing established names and have released projects with 5 MOBO award winners whilst developing new talent in conjunction with their own UK Publishing company.
