Hailing from the UK, Chris and Alex, also known as AlphaLove, formed at the end of 2016. They were brought together by their passion for creating music. As well as Alex being a singer, between them, there isn’t an instrument they can’t play! Their style blurs the lines between Pop, Trap and House music.

“People like The Chainsmokers, Galantis and Oliver Heldens have been huge influences on us, not to mention pop icons’ Craig David, Bastille and The Weeknd”

By 2017, they began to receive full support on each of their remixes. This resulted in them landing their first DJ City top 10 (#8), #1 and regular weekly radio plays on Capital FM & Kiss 100 from Marvin Humes, JJ, Billy Da Kid and more.

Topping things off, they earned the #1 spot on the US’s number one dance radio show, Remix Top 30, with their Taylor Swift remix.

2018 has seen Alphalove go from strength to strength. In February, the highly regarded Billboard 100 published their Bruno Mars “Finesse” remix twice!

To add to this, collaborating with R3WIRE, they released a remix of Ramz “Barking” which landed them their first BBC Radio 1 spin, championed by Mistajam.

Alphalove’s fanbase and popularity has been steadily growing. The numbers show this with their remixes going from barely 1000 Shazams to receiving over 54k (Taylor Swift “Look What You Made Me Do” Alphalove Remix). To back this up, their Soundcloud plays have grown from 200, to 2000 to their latest remix, Sigala x Paloma Faith “Lullaby” (Alphalove Remix), accumulating 40k plays in just 11 days.

Alphalove recently won a Jacob Plant remix competition, earning them an official remix release on Skint Records as well as the notoriety. The ‘icing on the cake’ for Alphalove, has come in the form of being nominated for a ‘New Rising Remixer of the Year’ award at this years Digital Music Pool / Remix Top 30 Awards in Miami.
