He’s an accomplished musician and singer/songwriter his authentic style of productions have earned him huge success, particularly in the US where he has already achieved five US Billboard Club Chart Number 1’s.
After producing Macy Gray’s biggest club hit to date (beating Fatboy Slim’s previous record) which reached number seven in the US Billboard Dance Chart of the year, ‘Beauty In The World’ – The Cutmore Remix’ was re-released as the single nationally itself. Inna and Flo Rida have since followed suit and decided to release the Cutmore Remix of their track ‘Club Rocker’ as the lead single in the UK.
Other major artists are fans of Cutmore’s work including Maroon 5, whom he has now remixed four times. He was even awarded a platinum disc from the band for his work during their previous album ‘Hands All Over’. The Cutmore remix of their biggest Number One hit ‘Payphone’ had full support by all the major UK radio stations including regular daytime plays on BBC Radio One, and has been featured on Maroon 5’s current album ‘Over Exposed’. Additionally, his productions have been included on albums for Toni Braxton, Mika and Sergio Mendes.
Cutmore is not only renowned for his remix work. His own track with Ruff Loaderz and Inaya Day, ‘Lift Your Head Off’ reached number 2 in the official upfront club charts only to be beaten by Madonna, with their video having regular plays on many of the major music channels including MTV Dance and the Box.
As well as DJing at various venues all over the world, Richard regularly performs at his own weekly event ‘Cutmore’s House’ at Penthouse – one of London’s most prestigious clubs in the heart of Leicester Square. He hosted an official album launch party for Maroon 5, which the band became involved themselves after they tweeted about him and the event. Likewise, he continues to receive recognition for his work within social media from other stars such as JLS, Michael Buble, Inna, Professor Green, Chipmunk and Tinchy Stryder.
Cutmore Remixes are regularly playlisted peaktime on all the major UK radio stations including BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and Kiss 100. Furthermore, his productions are continually supported on TV by many of the music channels including MTV Dance, Clubland, Flava and Dance Nation. Fashion brand giants Abercrombie and Fitch are also proud followers of Cutmore’s work, and frequently playlist his music throughout their stores across the globe.
